If you’re looking for Amazing Headshot Photographer with Professional Hair and Makeup we would love to talk to you! Whether these headshot pictures are for business or pageant photographs it’s important to us that we capture who you are and the look you’re going for. Olivia, arrived in the studio with hair down to her belt and no makeup. It was long before our makeup artist transformed her from cute tween, to Oh My Goodness, she’s only in 10th grade! Outfits, professional hair and makeup and feeling confident with your look are so important to making the final portrait one you’ll love to hang in your home… and of course an amazing headshot photographer. So lets talk about the details of this session.
Olivia arrived after school for one of our makeup artist to practice with. Her striking features hit me when she walked through the door, inside I hoped her parents were ready to see their 10th grade daughter all of the sudden look twenty-one. We love to incorporate beautiful makeup that accentuates the eyes, is very natural, elegant, and provides a classic look that will be in style for years to come.
Prepare for Great Portraits with your Headshot Photographer
- First about a week before your session, be sure you have everything planned out with your headshot photographer. What you’ll be wearing, the look you want to achieve, how with the end images be used, serious or casual. It’s important to establish this relationship in order to get the end results to match exactly what you have in mind.
- This is also a great time to get roots touched up, eyebrows waxed, any facial hair removed, a manicure, and a spray tan if you like.
- At Holubek Photography we ask everyone to arrive with clean dry hair. When blow drying your hair at home, it’s best to flip your head over and dry your hair upside down with a blow dryer. Do Not straighten it and be careful not to pull any natural body out with a brush. If you want curls to hold later in the photo session, please do not straighten.
- Finally, it’s always good to wear a button up shirt, or we have a wrap you can wear, when the makeup artist is working. This protects your clothing and ensures you won’t destroy your hair with a pull over when trying to get it over your head.
The one thing I can’t stress enough is the relationship with your headshot photographer. Select someone you trust, who you have good rapport with, and preferably a headshot photographer who has experience.
