We are excited to announce our Children’s Spring Picture Special for 2018.  Since November 2017, Alice Hodges, the Director of Meg’s House, and I have been trying to put together a fundraiser for this amazing non-profit.  Several options were on the table, mother daughter portraits, families, teens, however after the excitement generated from Noah’s Ark Preschool Portraits we decided a Children’s Spring Picture Special was the way to go.   Of course, with children’s pictures you never know exactly how they’ll behave (or not), but the tears, pouts, and sad eyes make for incredible portraits that bring years of fun conversations.

The mini Children’s Spring Picture Special will be taken on a white background which looks great with soft spring pastels or bright summer colors.  We recently photographed Noah’s Ark preschool on a white background and the pictures are gorgeous, but the personalities that we captured are even better. The mini sessions are $35 and scheduled every 15 minutes with photographer Karen Holubek.  They are limited to three children per session, however if you have four or would like additional time please book two sessions together. For pricing details, what to wear and how to prepare click here:  Children’s Spring Picture Special Info.

Meg’s House is a United Way Partner and registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. They are a shelter for abused women and children in Greenwood, SC. They provide emergency shelter and supportive services to victims of domestic violence and assist with temporary housing to the homeless.  When I sat down with Alice and asked how we could help she said they can always use donations and another item I didn’t expect was towels.  On their website under the Donate menu they have a “Wish List” of items for women and children.  If you would like to make a direct donation to Meg’s House and forego the pictures click here to go to their website where you can Make a Donation.
