High School Senior Models

We are Super Excited about the year we have planned for our 2013 and 2014 High School Senior Models! If you think you have what it takes.... a love for the spotlight, ability to "RocK" in front of a camera, willingness to appear in marketing ads, local boutiques & cafes, youtube, etc, then you've come to the right place! Your images will be showcased everywhere and because of that, you MUST have a parent or legal guardian sign a Model Release.

You MUST graduate in 2013 or 2014 to apply. If you're interested in experiencing what it's like to be in front of the camera, extreme posing, hair and make-up styled, the royal treatment of a model, talk with your parents and complete the application below.

Heartthrob Sessions – Valentines Special for Couples, Greenwood Photographer Karen Holubek

You know who I’m talking about… the one that makes your heart skip a beat, flutter, and speed up. Your body gets tingly, butterflies in your stomach that reach to your toes!!! Whether you’re …… going out, talking, dating, texting, friends, boyfriend, girlfriend, fiancé, in love, out of love, just married, first year, 3rd month, etc. this is for you…. and just in time for Valentines.

This is a Limited Special. What does that mean? It’s Special pricing, a special day, special online viewing of images, and a Super Special Session with your Heartthrob! The sessions are being booked 45 minutes apart, with 30 minutes in the studio on Saturday, January 21st, 2012. Your session package costs $95 and includes 2 – 5×7′s and 1 – ipix image (for mobile devices or social networking with logo) from one pose. You’ll have 20-25 images to choose from in an online gallery with a shopping cart. In order to hold your spot the session package must be paid in advance with any major credit card. And… for one more Special Twist….weather permitting you can upgrade your package once you arrive which will add 10 minutes outdoors for $10 (but only available the day of the shoot b/c we’ll have to check the weather).

Now for the fine print…. you must be 18 years or older to sign for yourself, otherwise a parent or guardian must sign a release before you come or tag along with you for the fun. Each person photographed MUST have a release. This Heartthrob Special is for couples ONLY. Sessions will not be rescheduled. Pinterest is a crafty, unique, stylish assortment of images posted by people just like you and I. It’s like looking at your favortie magazine without words and all pictures. There is crafting, home decor, fashion, photography, weddings, sewing…. seriously, anything you can think of. I use it for inspiration on decorating my home, crafting with my kids, parties, photography, clothing, everything. BUT.. I have to be careful because just when I think I’ve looked around for 10 minutes…. I check my clock and 2 freaking hours have passed!!! It’s that much fun!

I LOVE unexpected greatness from an unlikely place! The video above is an older one, but I can sit and watch it over and over. Susan Boyle has an angelic voice, but who would have known! She only needed to be given a chance, one chance, and she got it. What a surprize! NO One expected what they were experiencing! Yes, it was a wake-up call and should be to all of us! I’m thankful for Starbucks! Greenwood, SC Photographer

I believe we should be thankful for everything, and this time of year I love reflecting on the little thing I love. The little things that make my day a happier place. So, over the next 10 days (it was going to be 12 but was quickly reduced 10) I’m posting pictures of these little things, and you can tell me how much you love them too!!

Day 1

I’m thankful for Starbucks!!!! The White Chocolate Mocha, yummy, hot, sweet, creamy, oh SO good! But not only thankful for Starbucks but my assistant in getting this photo and his creative idea of using an elf in the cup, and then forgetting the cup all together and photographing our dog, Lilly! Isn’t she adorable!
